Atarisnerd’s questions for me:

1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

I would switch between a kid (most of the time, probably) and an old lady. So oftentimes I’d be like 6-12 and sometimes I’d be 80.

2. What’s something you know you do differently than most people?

I am a vegetarian, I like sleeping somewhat regular hours when the sun is down and waking up to the sun, sometimes I like being so busy my health might be compromised, and I don’t like alcohol so much.

3. Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?

I’d rather be a joyful simpleton. There’s a reason we don’t know the horrible truths of the world, and I enjoy being happy too much to give that up. Plain ignorance can be forgiven or taught.

4. Would you rather lose all of your old memories or the ability to make new ones?

The ability to make new ones. Though this question is tough, I’m deciding based on the fact that we don’t know what the future holds and I am too tied to my past to let go of it. I hope this scenario is in a world where there are photographs I can rely on and that I would still have my friends to fill me in on what I have missed.

6. Would your friends say you are more predictable or unpredictable?

I would like to say unpredictable, but I’m pretty sure that’s not true. I am oftentimes pretty predictable in my behavior and my friends have proven this to me by letting me know and even sometimes telling me how I am reacting before I realize it myself.

7. What’s the biggest lie you’ve ever told? Why? What were the consequences of telling the lie, if any, or what would the consequences have been if the truth came out?

I can’t actually remember. I don’t like lying too much, it does just end up getting a person in trouble. I may have told one in middle school that got me a detention. I was a rebel… ok not really.

8. Is murder ever justified?

I’m going to go with no. I don’t think any person on earth should decide when someone else is going to die. Life is too precious. If you want to talk about castration for rapists though, that is fair justice.

9. If people could know your thoughts, do you think they would think differently of you?

Probably. I have a lot going on in my head that is never expressed outwardly and there are times when if I had said what was on my mind I could have changed an entire situation as well as the views of those around me. I am not very outspoken and I’m not sure if that always works in my favor.

10. If you had the opportunity to get a message across to a large group of people, what would your message be?

To live life to the fullest, but not take it too seriously at the same time. People get very swept up in the rush of things that they forget how amendable life can be. Stop and smell the flowers every once in a while. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Life will sometimes be tough or seem to take a turn for the worst or even just put you at a crossroads where you have to make a decision that will send you down one of two very distinct paths and you need to just take a breath and go with it, because in the end life will send you exactly where you’re meant to be. (This definitely may be just me rambling about things I need to remind myself about every day.)

11. If you had a friend who spoke to you in the same way you speak to yourself, how long would you keep that person as a friend?

I would hold on to them so tightly they could never leave.
